Disposability (Cheap Short-living Objects)

Replace an expensive object by a collection of inexpensive ones, forgoing certain qualities (e.g. longevity).
 

EXAMPLE:
  1. Disposable products like paper towels, party sets, personal hygiene products, etc.
  2. Plastically deformable metallic energy absorbers or shock absorbers such as those used for the landing of space probes.
