Feedback

a) Introduce feedback.

b) If feedback already exists, change it.

EXAMPLE:
  1. Industrial robots used for de-burring injection-moulded parts have an optical sensor to trace the contours of the part and guide the robot’s arm or deburring tool.
  2. For a faster and more exact machining of the contours of the work piece, the speed of the tool can be adjusted proportionally to the detected deviations from the desired values. This combination of sensor and speed control now forms a multiple feedback control circuit, and results in vastly improved efficiency.
